Romano Fenati came back on track as the protagonist of the two test days, the 16th and 17th of November, at Jerez de la Frontera Circuit. He tried for the first time the Honda NSF250RW and felt immediately comfortable with it and with the new team, by getting the best time in the first day (1’46.930), time which went undefeated for both days. The second day the rider from Ascoli did 41 laps and concentrated mostly on the configuration of his new Honda, which is a little bit different from the KTM he was used to. A really good start which brought confidence in the box and is giving good sensations for the future. His teammate Jules Danilo did 56 laps today and 65 yesterday to improve the feeling at the rear. The French rider suffered this lack of feeling even during the last race weekend in Valencia. Next week once again on the track for other two days of test, the 21st and 22nd of November in Valencia, the last one before the winter break.

Romano Fenati: “We had positive tests, started off on the right foot. I really like my team, as well as my motorbike. We need to work hard, as we did today, and improve again. In Valencia I hope to find a good feeling right away in order to fix a good basis, useful for 2017“.

Jules Danilo: “These two test days were difficult for me. During the last race weekend, in Valencia, I lost the feeling with the bike, especially at the rear, and this sensation continued even here at Jerez. Today, in the last 20 minutes, we tried some modifications and we did a step ahead. I am feeling more comfortable now and we’ll continue this job next week”.
